Congratulations CMML members Prosenjit, Rojin, and Asia for receiving the 2nd place prize in the Dassault Systemes (DS) Additive Manufacturing Hackathon event. In this event, participants work in team to overcome design and manufacturing challenges in additive manufacturing from industrial problems. We are grateful to DS Simulia group for providing this invaluable opportunity of hands-on learning and application of 3DEXPERIENCE additive manufacturing tools to solve challenge problems in industry.

Congratulations Rojin on winning the 2nd place award in the 24th Annual Sigma Xi Research Exhibit at UMass Dartmouth! Rojin presented a poster ‘Extended Finite Element Method (XFEM) to study the fracture of 3D printed polymers considering layer interfaces’. Well done!
